The Empowered Endings Institute’s educational programs are built on the successful foundation of the Empowered Endings Model of Care. This model of care, proven after nearly a decade of co-creating transformational experiences for patients aging and facing complex and terminal illnesses, their loved ones, and the providers who support them, have the support, knowledge, and tools needed to create an Empowered End of Life Experience™ with the dignity and agency we all deserve.
Unlike traditional, insurance-based medicine, which focuses primarily on disease progression and treatment, we teach that patient well-being encompasses their physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual health, and robust support of their loved ones throughout the journey. We extend our support to collaborating providers and ensure the well-being of our care teams as a foundational aspect of our model of care.
