Ashley Gregory, MHS, PA-C, Palliative Care Specialist, EOLA

Palliative, End of Life Doula and Physician Assistant

What is to give light must endure burning.

- Viktor Frankl

Ashley joined Empowered Endings in November 2023 as both an end of life doula and PA. She completed Duke University Physician Assistant program in 2001 and began her career in Emergency Medicine. Sixteen years in the ER coincided with training medical students in the residency program and lecturing at USC Keck School of Medicine. In 2013, Ashley stepped into Primary Care, joining a technology-forward primary care practice and completing her Palliative Care specialization with a goal of transforming the traditional methods of patient treatment and building their Palliative Care practice. Personal and professional experiences led her to End of Life Doula training and starting her work in more holistic modalities, end-of-life issues, and experiences. She lives in Newport Beach with her husband, Troy, while launching her kids into adulthood.

Bob and Elizabeth are just very gentle souls. There was no pressure and shared with my wife Rachel and I the many options you have to consider. It felt just like someone putting their arms around you.

For us as a family, Bob and Elizabeth gave us the tranquility and support that we needed at that moment. It made a total difference in the way my Dad passed away. It allowed me to be the daughter and not a nurse.
